Dr. Michael A. Campanelli, D.O.
Dr. Michael A. Campanelli, D.O., is recognized for his neurosurgical skill and knowledge in trauma cases and is an invaluable addition to Lakeland Regional's Trauma Services department. He also has a special interest in surgery for patients suffering from carpal tunnel syndrome. Dr. Campanelli has extensive training in neurosurgery and neurotrauma and has been practicing in Polk County since 2000.
Dr. Rajan Raj, M.D.
Dr. Rajan Raj, M.D., complements Lakeland Regional's neurosurgery team with his years of experience and knowledge of the latest surgical techniques for treating cranial tumors, as well as a variety of spinal procedures. He is also adept at the BrainLAB image-guided system, which gives patients added precision and helps to preserve healthy tissue in very delicate procedures. Prior to joining LRMC, Dr. Raj spent several years serving as a neurosurgeon and neurosurgery instructor in the Chicago area.
Dr. Donald C. Sachs, M.D.
Dr. Donald C. Sachs, M.D., brings to Lakeland Regional his skill in a complete range of procedures for both adults and children, including additional expertise in spinal deformities and disorders associated with aging. He is highly adept at minimally invasive lumbar laminectomy for spinal stenosis and is the only surgeon in the area performing this procedure without disrupting muscle fiber. Dr. Sachs previously practiced at the University of South Florida Medical Center and has lectured at national neurosurgical symposiums.
