Total Joint Replacement Pre-operative Education Class
This class is held every Tuesday from 2:30 - 3:30 p.m.
in the M wing, conference room 540 on the 5th floor.
This informational class is designed to inform elective total joint replacement patients and their families about what to expect with regard to surgery, from the pre-operative period to post hospital recuperation. The class is lead by an interdisciplinary team compromised of physical therapists, social services and orthopedic nurses. Topics covered will include pain management, daily routine, ambulation, exercises and discharge planning.
