are important to us. From the awe of childbirth and trying toddler times through
midlife and the golden years, LRMC offers all the services needed to keep women
and children healthy and happy.
Obstetrics
We love
babies. Especially bringing them safely into this world. With almost 4,000
deliveries at LRMC each year, you can be sure you're getting more experience and
more expertise than you ever expected. In our spacious home-like birthing
suites, you can be surrounded by family and friends, not to mention our highly
skilled obstetric nurses. And to make you even more comfortable, we offer a
soothing labor tub and an on-site anesthesiologist is available 24-hours-a-day,
seven-days-a-week. We even have perinatologists for mothers faced with a high
risk pregnancy. Add all this to our many childbirth classes and pregnancy
programs, and you and your baby will be cradled with the most complete care
available.

Level II Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU)
Sometimes
even a miracle needs medical attention. Expectant parents depend on our Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) for peace of mind, which includes having the
expertise of highly skilled physicians complemented by the latest innovative
life-saving technologies. Our on-staff neonatologists work closely with our
specially trained neonatal nurses and dedicated respiratory staff to ensure that
premature and high risk babies have every possible chance at a healthy, normal
life.
Pediatrics
Kids keep
you busy and us too. Our 47-bed pediatric medical/surgical unit is the area's
largest, and our Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) is the area's only one of
its kind. To make our care even more complete, we offer an 8-bed adolescent
mental health unit and a 10-bed pediatric emergency room that houses life-saving
equipment specific to a child's needs. All of these units, as well as our
programs for chronic asthma and other conditions, are supported by our
outstanding pediatric specialists.
Women's Health
Women are
unique. And they require care that is unique to their health needs. Our women's
services cater to females of all ages with education and screenings to prevent
illness, and with the most respected care in cardiology, orthopedics, gynecology
and oncology to treat illness.
